Handmade Leather Journals & Sketch Books
I make a variety of handmade leather books and journals. A handmade journal (or sketchbook) is a great gift for anyone who loves to write, draw, doodle, scrapbook, compose poetry, write songs, keep a photo album, or keep a diary. There are so many fun and wonderful uses for our journals!
Our journals incorporate various elements, old and new. We use everything from skeleton keys and vintage buttons to broken jewelry, seashells, and stones. Each journal is unique and made by hand.
They range in size from small enough to wear as a pendant, to large sketch journals.
We use a variety of papers-- Strathmore sketch paper, thick cardstock, parchment paper, watercolor paper, even papers that have been hand stained with tea.
We try to keep a variety of styles in -- from classic leather, to pink girly flowers, to post-apocalyptic style and steampunk journals. We can take custom orders as well.
